* Vocab:

- be born and raised in...= be native of someplace (v): originally born in someplace and spent time growing up there.

- no spring chicken (idiom) = old

- a spoiled brat (n): a child with bad behavior.

- learn the ropes (Idiom): get accustomed to.

e.g.: she is a new comer to our company. She, i think, needs to learn the ropes.

- better late than never (idiom): better do something which is quite time consuming rather than never accomplish it.
